This is interesting. In this video we have a homeowner complaining about response and time to get water on the fire. In my opinion people will complain about response times because it always feels like a long time when you are the one waiting for help. I don’t know for sure, but for now I will assume that it wasn’t 15 minutes. Not saying it didn’t take that time, but usually it’s quicker than people think.
Now, as far as getting water on the fire, I can see her point. I know we don’t need to be running around all crazy and panic stricken,but I think these guys could have moved a little quicker. It is also interesting that a truck company is there first. It could be normal for this department, but in my department we pump with the first engine. Or, is this a case of truckies trying to do engine work? Just kidding on that last part. Anyway, what do you think? Could they have done better?
